Speakeasy BluesOver the past year, Karen Lovely has presented a number of performances based on the music of the early female blues legends of the 1920s-30s. These shows have been highly popular and often she has been asked whether there was a recording available of this music. As a young man just starting out, Norman Sylvester was unable to pursue music as a full time occupation. With a new family he needed steady employment that offered health care insurance.
