Gabriel Cox, young blues rocker from the Portland area, is releasing his second full length album and will be holding two special CD release parties to celebrate. The album, I Surrender, is already gaining national attention and should leave fans talking for years to come. The new album features some of the regions hottest artist, including Rae Gordon, Hank Shreve, and Miranda Vettrus, backed by an all-star band. Both shows are going to be multi-act events, so don’t miss out on some of the young up-and-coming talent joining Gabe for his special nights.
The first celebration will take place on Saturday, June 11, at Shotski’s, 1230 State Street in Salem. The night will start off at 7:00 pm with guest bands Bluevolution and Never 2 Late taking the stage before Gabe. Admission is only $5.00
Then, one week later, on Saturday, June 18, another triple-header affair will take place at McMenamin’s White Eagle Saloon, 836 N Russell Street, Portland. The showcase will open with Old Mill at 9:00 pm, then Black Sheep Black will play at 10:00 pm. Gabe will take the stage at 11:00 pm. Admission is $8.00.
