Membership Benefits
- Membership updates via email
- Discounts on blues concert and event tickets, including member-only ticket giveaways
- Free blues entertainment at Member Showcase meetings which are usually held the first Wednesday of each month at locations in the greater Portland area. These meetings are free and open to under-21 audiences from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. They feature a mix of new and familiar local blues musicians. We also give away fun prizes, like CDs (donated by longtime CBA partner Music Millennium) and tickets for upcoming blues events
- Annual CBA Holiday Party
- A chance to participate in our Journey to Memphis Competitions – we help support each year’s winner as they prepare to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis!
- The privilege to vote for deserving artists, venues, and recordings in many categories for the nationally acclaimed annual CBA Muddy Awards – one vote per email address on file
- A chance to influence the CBA’s direction by voting annually for Board Officers – one vote per email address on file
- And of course, the good feeling that comes from knowing you’re helping to support local musicians and preserve the blues!

Choose the type of membership you want to purchase and click the corresponding button. Single (Individual), Family(Two Individuals) and Band(Three members – additional member can be added at a deep discount) have fixed payment amounts; while each of the four Supporting Membership levels has a dollar range — you specify the amount you want to donate within that range for your Supporting Membership.

Supporting Memberships
We also offer Supporting Memberships – these confer special membership status in return for donations that exceed our standard membership levels. See below for full details on the dollar ranges of the four Supporting Membership levels and the benefits that accompany each level.
Just click the “Make A Donation” button for the membership level you’ve chosen, and specify a donation amount that falls within the dollar range of that membership level when you reach the checkout page.
