Blues Mania: Benefit for Steve Pringle
A long list of who’s who in the local blues community will be taking the stage in November to show their support of longtime radio personality “Uncle” Steve Pringle who is suffering from stage four cancer.
BluesMania: A Benefit for Steve Pringle will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24, 5-9 p.m., at Roseland Theatre, 8 N.W. Sixth Ave, Portland. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $50 for reserved balcony, and are available at CascadeTickets.com or at Music Millennium, 3158 E Burnside St., Portland. The event will also feature a silent auction of music memorabilia, gift baskets, art and more.
Scheduled to perform are Rose City Kings, Kevin Selfe Big Band, Norman Sylvester Band, Karen Lovely with Ben Rice, Curtis Salgado and Alan Hager, Lloyd Jones, Lisa Mann, Jimi Bott and more. The event will conclude with a “guitar showdown” featuring special guests including Terry Robb, Robbie Laws, Ty Curtis, Peter Dammann, Tim Langford and more.
