Last March, Robin Trower celebrated both his seventy-fourth birthday and the release of his twenty-third album, Getting Closer to the Day. In an era when many of his peers embark on farewell tours filled with decades-old hits, Trower continues to record and release new material. The British blues guitarist is known for his unique style, which includes healthy doses of string bends and vibrato. His latest tour will focus on the new album, but he will also perform tunes from astonishing music career, including material from Procul Harum and the breakthrough solo recording Bridge of Sighs.
Portland’s award-winning guitar hero Terry Robb will open the evening.
