Diane Russell’s - Portraits of Blues & Jazz MusiciansCoinciding with the 2018 Waterfront Blues Festival, blues & jazz portraits by Portland artist Diane Russell will be on display July 6-7 in the Oregon Ballroom at the Marriott hotel during the Waterfront Blues Festival After Hours concerts.  A small display will also be on the second floor of the Marriott July 4-7.  The Marriott is located at 1401 SW Naito Parkway, Portland, Oregon.

The solo exhibit will feature Diane’s latest portraits of Waterfront Blues Festival headliners throughout the thirty years of the festival.

Diane Russell is a Portland artist specializing in oil paintings and pencil drawings from her photos of blues and jazz musicians.  Her work has been featured on two Legendary Blues Cruise posters, the 2005 WC Handy Awards poster, Northwest Gospel Project’s CD “Heavenly Brother”, Linda Hornbuckle’s CD “Clearly”, and many other national and local CD covers.
