General Membership Meeting

Check out something different on Wednesday, July 5th, from 6:30 to 8-ish. Each month the CBA presents TWO different blues acts — might be someone new to you, new on the scene, passing through, or even an old favorite — but guaranteed to entertain!

First set – soloist Ian Shickle’s WINEBOX MASSACRE
The CBA is pleased to introduce members and guests to IAN SHICKLE’S WINEBOX MASSACRE, a bluesy soloist who plays a homemade 3-string winebox guitar while stomping out his own rhythms.
After living up and down the east coast, Ian moved to Portland in 2006 and has settled into his own unique style.

Second set – BLUES BATTALION
A 6-piece band playing mostly blues, the members of Blues Battalion have been playing, both together and individually, for more years than they can count. They’ve received rave reviews of their performances — isn’t it time to see what the fuss is about?
