Lisa Mann & Wendy DeWitt Boogie-Woogie Blues Show

Blues Music Award winning bassist/vocalist Lisa Mann joins the Bay Area’s Queen of Boogie piano for a rollicking evening of Boogie-Woogie Blues at The Garages.

Mann is well know for her diverse vocals which swing smoothly from an easy sensuousness of rhythm and blues to the hard-edged storm of rock-n-roll, all complimented by her considerable prowess on bass guitar.

DeWitt, formerly the pianist with Hank Ballard & The Midnighters and Steve Freund, has a lengthy career that also includes playing with people like Charlie Musselwhite, Otis Rush and Jimmy Thackery, as well as producing the San Fracisco Boogie Woogie Festival and the Queens of Boogie Woogie.
