Rose City Blues Offers Three Days of Dancing & Blues History
Rose City Blues is Portland’s annual weekend of Blues music and dance, hosted by the Portland Blues & Jazz Dance Society. With over 20 hours of music and two days of workshops, Rose City Blues is the perfect place to spend the day learning about the history of blues and the vibrant blues culture we have today, and then to dance the nights away.
Featured performers this year include Norman Sylvester, LaRhonda Steele, Mary Flower, Dan Nash, Tevis Hodge Jr, and the Zapata Brothers. Instruction showcases will be led by Brenda Russell, Catherine Palmier, Carlton Jackson, Damon Stone, Kelsy Stone and Reggie Houston.
