Wonder Ballroom Welcomes ZZ Ward

Los Angeles-based vocalist and multi-instrumentalist ZZ Ward grew up listening to a lot of blues and hip hop, so blending these two styles just came naturally. She explains that “it was more about simplicity, honing in on what I love about music and what makes me who I am as an artist.” It’s a realization earned over a whirlwind five years for the fedora-rocking, guitar-shredding, harmonica-wielding blues siren that has seen her featured on many media outlets and on stage at some of the biggest musical festivals around the world.

ZZ Ward will be performing at The Wonder Ballroom, 128 NE Russell, on Sunday, March 4, at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $29.50 in advance through Ticketfly.com or $30.00 day of show at the door. This is an all ages event. Austin-based rock duo Black Pistol Fire opens the show.
